There are lots of reasons to love summer in Alberta. I always get excited when summer time is approaching since we had a really long winter in Canada, (let’s say almost 6 months of having cold weather). Summer is my time to explore new places, spending more time in the lake, more fruits, lots of flowers to enjoy, gardening, BBQ and many more fun activities outside.
But this awesome weather is not the only reason why I love summer. Summer equals Garage Sale Time. This is always what I do during summer time, looking for a garage sale. I always hunt for nice things which I can still use or send some of the items to my family in the Philippines as long as it is still clean and useful. You can even find some items that are still new. Canadians love to buy things but they can easily let go of it if they don’t like it anymore. Some would buy some things even though they are not going to use it in the end they will just sell it during garage sale. Just imagine fill a bag of clothes for only $5.00, a box full of toys for $10.00, a rice cooker that was not use for only $7.00, These are one of the many things that I bought at the yard sale. Isn’t it amazing? I am so lucky that there’s always a massive neighborhood garage sale where we live.
My baby’s corner just cost me below $100.00. Check on my next post for the breakdown.
